Please provide your special tips due to which you secured high marks in IGNOU BCA Term End Examinations (TEE):-

Answer:

Ø  First, I studied very sincerely from study material which IGNOU has provided because in term end exam, 80% questions are from this study material. So study it thoroughly.

Ø  I also learn diagrams and figures which I used to draw in my answer sheet. In my view, diagrams enhance your answer and it seems that you know very deeply about the topics that’s why I make diagrams in every possible questions.

Ø  I wrote 3 to 4 pages for each question and I also take two extra supplementary sheets. Always write your answer according to your words limit given in question.

Ø  Make your time limit according to your number of questions asked because time is not sufficient. Do not waste your extra time on a single question.

Ø  My strategy to secure high marks in TEE is explained in this article. The most important is that do not leave any question, try to attempt all questions.

Ø  If you strictly follow these tips which I have written, you will surely achieve highest marks.

Other Frequently asked questions (FAQ):-

1.  Did your course have practical/Internship/project component? If yes, please provide complete details as students have a lot of questions and issues in this section.

Answer: Yes, in my course there are practical exams in every semester. In my last semester we have to submit one project as my course is BCA.

2.     Apart from IGNOU text books, which book would you recommend for the students to get crystal clear concepts & maximum marks in this course?

Answer: I would not recommend any other book because I did not study from them. IGNOU text books are enough. To get clear concepts I studied from YouTube and google as well.

3.     What was your motivation for joining this particular IGNOU course?

Answer: As IGNOU is a global university and it has a great importance, I prefer to join IGNOU course.

4.     Which was the most challenging/toughest subject in your IGNOU degree/diploma course?

Answer: The toughest subject in my course was economics and maths. As I m a science student, so I did not know much about economics. That was very challenging for me. IGNOU is a distance university so I cannot clear doubts in maths (BCS 012 & MCS 013)  also but I always keep trying. I have never given up that’s why I have got university gold medal.

5.    Did you solve previous year question papers of IGNOU Term End Examinations? If yes, please mention question papers of how far back did you solve.

Answer: Yes, I have solved them to know which types of questions are asked in TEE. Accordingly I prepared for the exam. I used to solve 5 years back of question papers.

6.      What are the different job opportunities after completing this course? Did this course help you in your job or getting a job? Please explain how.

Answer:  After completing my course, I am preparing for government jobs.

7.      Does this course helps in any competitive exams? Were you able to apply the knowledge so gained in this course in that exam?

Answer: Yes, ofcourse it did. In banking exams, there is a computer section as well in which I apply the knowledge gained in my course.

8.    Does this course helps in higher education? Are you pursuing higher education on the basis of your IGNOU degree? If Yes, Please give details.

Answer:  Surely this course helps in higher education. No, I am not pursuing higher education.

9.    What are your suggestions for the freshers who are joining this course and reading your experience?

Answer:  My suggestion is not to join BCA course in IGNOU because it is a technical degree and you will suffer a lot like me because there is no one to teach you or clear your doubts. IGNOU is good for other courses but for BCA it is tough. But if you have joined like me then go ahead & work hard and you will be successful one day. All the best to the freshers from my side.

10. What is the academic and professional value of a degree obtained from IGNOU? Can share your personal life experience as well.

Answer:  IGNOU is a very recognized university, everyone knows about it. Sorry I cannot share my personal experience because I have just passed out from it, I have no experience yet.

11.  Did you ever face any advantage/disadvantage of completing this distance education course from IGNOU over the people who completed the same course full time from some other university? Please give details.

Answer: Yes I faced disadvantages. But after getting the medal I have become very confident and people also recognize as a gold medal-list. I have learned one lesson from it so far that “if you work hard u will definitely get rewarded; your hard work never goes waste”.

Do's & Dont's from the first to last day in college

"The only permanent thing in this world is change" From the cosy comfort of your house to bunking up with strangers in a hostel room is one of the most adventurous yet uneasy feeling in the world. If you are amongst a lucky few whose parents came to drop you in college, to help you get settled in hostel by buying various day to day hostel amenities like cots, bed sheets, pillow, bucket, soaps, hangers etc., consider yourself extremely lucky if they don't get overwhelmed while leaving you behind just to ensure that you don't get weak in your commitments.  But if they are not able to control their emotions and give you that blissful teary Good-Bye hug, don't look down upon them, don't get embarrassed that so many guys/girls/faculties are watching, Embrace them, tightly, like you have never done before. And trust me when I say this, the walk from the place where your parents left to your hostel/class, will be the longest walk you will eve
